Complete with a motivational speaker, workshops, lunch, and a closing ceremony, this event provides youth with a one-of-a-kind experience that balances learning, discussion, and fun. Building on the theme of empowerment, this event is student-led, with youth input playing a key role in the type of themes, speakers, performers, and activities planned. This event is designed around engaging youth and helping them develop both as individuals and members of the community.

Along with the conference we have the Justin Slade Youth Empowerment Award. The award is presented to one youth at the No Limits Youth Empowerment Day. The award recognizes young people, nominated through their schools or the community, who are already working to empower those around them. Youth empowerment is defined by the award as an attitudinal, structural, and cultural process whereby young people gain the ability, authority, and agency to make decisions and implement change in their own lives and the lives of other people, including youth and adults.
