FORT MAC YOUTH ARE AWESOME!
I moved here with my family when I was 14, my teenage years were spent right here and I know first hand that FORT MAC YOUTH ARE AWESOME! With recent news stories surrounding youth who have made poor life choices I thought it would be a good idea to highlight youth who are making positive ones. Sure there are a few bad apples in the bunch but that should not spoil the image of all of Fort McMurray’s youth! We have amazingly talented youth who are making a difference here in our community and want to make sure that everyone knows it!
I was trying to think of a way to highlight youth who are positively affecting their community, so here is what I came up with. I want your stories! Have you done something good for someone lately? Are you involved in your school or community? Have you achieved something you are particularly proud of? Please send in your stories!
Your stories will be printed in our Newsletter, highlighted on our Facebook, our Website and also sent to schools and various community organizations!
